Connected with nature
We aim to connect our visitors with the fauna, flora, and diverse landscapes and habitats of this part of the Orinoco region, fostering an awareness of environmental preservation and respect for the area's diverse cultures.
We are located within the El Tuparro National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and are nestled within the largest Ramsar wetland in the country, encompassing the Bita River (a protected river), the Orinoco, Meta, Mesetas, Dagua, Caño Negro, Tomo, and Tuparro rivers.
We are situated on the Guiana Shield, a Precambrian geological formation considered one of the oldest on Earth, home to immense biological and cultural diversity.

Ecolodge Hacienda Los Amores
We are located on the banks of the Bita River, a half-hour drive from the town of Puerto Carreño.
We have two thatched-roof huts (caneys) and a cabin with two separate bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, running water, and solar power; we also have a camping area.
Our total capacity is 20 people, staying in bunk beds.
During your visit, you will have several experiences to choose from in advance, ideally one per day. These include land and river options for observation and exploration in natural settings, which are detailed below, depending on the time of year you visit.
The plan, number of days, and activities can be customized with sufficient advance notice, subject to availability.

Giant Ceiba Expedition

We depart from the Ecolodge by land to the Ventanas Nature Reserve, where we will begin the hike to the Cerro de Las Ceibas; where you can admire the majestic trees that grow on the gigantic stones and a place of high energy called La Maloca; an altar built naturally by 3 giant stones, which form an impressive structure.
Pictograms and San Roque Pond Expedition

We will discover ancient geological formations and on them, pictographs or prehistoric cave paintings; then we will embark on the journey through the Tepuy, or plateau of vertical walls formed by millions of years of erosion, in search of the Charca de San Roque, a place to rest, swim and spend the afternoon.
*From February to May, the Charca de San Roque is replaced by the spa in Mesetas.

Orinoco Petroglyph Expedition
Trail to observe the Autures and Palo Mazón rapids, and visit the island of petroglyphs.

Atures and Palo Mazón Rapids Route
This route begins by crossing the Orinoco River on two rafts:

Access is only possible during february.
